Save Space With A Stack WasherThere are great benefits to owning a stack washer, which is a washer and dryer stacked on top of one another. The stacked design takes up a lot less floor space when compared to having both the washer and the dryer on the floor. Most laundry rooms are quite small, and the extra space that a stacked washer and dryer offers can sometimes be a great help. There are many different kinds of stacked washer and dryers out there, and this article will focus on two different models from two different companies. The first stack washer that I will be talking about is the Maytag Super Stack Gas Laundry Pair. The model number for this washer and dryer combination is MGT3800TW. The dimensions for this machine goes as follows: 73" x 27" x 32". This model also comes in one color which is silver metallic with white. It's features include automatic temperature control, nine automatic wash cycles, four water levels, and the Quietseries 200 sound package which helps keep the machine quiet. The washer has about 2.6 cubic feet of capacity, and the dryer has about 5.9 cubic feet of capacity. The next stack washer that will be discussed is the Bosch Axxis+ Stackable Automatic Washing Machine. The model number for this machine is WAS24460UC. This machine, unlike the Maytag machine, does not have a dryer along with it. This machine is just a washer, but you are able to stack it to save space. Some features that this great machine has includes a 3.4 cubic feet drum capacity, seven washing options, internal water heater, and KIDSCARE cycle which allows you to get rid of incredibly tough stains. This particular machine is also very quiet. It also helps prevent wrinkles with added time allowed for the fluffing process. The two models named above are very different. The Maytag machine comes with a dryer while the Bosch machine comes as only a washer that you can stack. The benefit to the Bosch stack washer is that you can buy any dryer you want and still get the stacking option. This, and the many features that both have, make each machine very different.
